ST. LOUIS — It's time to crown U.S. figure skating champions.

The U.S. figure skating championships begin on Wednesday, Jan. 7 as it is the final event for American skaters before the 2026 Winter Olympics start in February. It's the last chance to show why skaters belong in Milano Cortina, and it all culminates with the Olympic roster unveiling on Sunday, Jan. 11.

Day one of the event begins with the short programs for pairs and women. The reigning champions for both sides are back on the ice with the pairs team of Alisa Efimova and Misha Mitrofanov and back-to-back reigning title-winner Amber Glenn.
