In his latest seven-round 2025 NFL mock draft, NFL.com's Chad Reuter has the Denver Broncos using their first-round pick to select North Carolina running back Omarion Hampton at No. 20 overall.
"Hampton is the kind of true lead back the Broncos haven't had since Sean Payton took over in 2023," Reuter wrote on NFL.com. "He has more juice than his predecessor in Denver in this scenario, fellow former North Carolina back Javonte Williams, while also presenting the power to make tacklers look like turnstiles."
After that, the Broncos add another weapon for young quarterback Bo Nix in LSU tight end Mason Taylor in the second round, followed by Oklahoma linebacker Danny Stutsman in the third round.
Denver then reunites Nix with his brother and Oregon teammate in the fourth round of Reuter's mock by adding wide receiver Tez Johnson. The mock closes out with the Broncos adding a safety, defensive lineman and interior offensive lineman.
The 2025 NFL draft will be held in Green Bay, Wisconsin, from April 24-26.
