The Chiefs only have $3.4M left. Won't they have to use that for the rookie pool? They might have a hard time competing with the Cardinals for Holliday.

Yep, that why I think Holliday will sign with the Cards. The Chiefs not only have to clear $2M more to sign their rookies, but probably also have to clear even more space to give Priest Holmes a new contact.

I find it interesting that the Seahawks have over $ 9 million to spend yet they are passing on Holliday. I am not convinced that Holliday is going to come here. I suspect that he will take a low ball offer from somewhere else to not play for Arizona.

Based on his injury history he would be a fool to gamble on a lowball/shorter contract.
