Jul. 13—SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Players and coaches from all nine Missouri Valley Football Conference teams will participate in the league's July 14 media day, which will be hosted by Midwest Sports+ and streamed live on this website.
Fans can watch the free livestream from 9 a.m. to noon CST Tuesday as Forum Communications journalists interview coaches and select players from each team about their upcoming campaigns. Visit the homepage to watch the stream.
The following is the approximate schedule of when each teams' representatives will sit for interviews:

9:15-9:25 a.m. Murray State
9:25-9:35 a.m. Illinois State
9:35-9:45 a.m. Youngstown State
9:50-10 a.m. Indiana State
10-10:15 a.m. North Dakota
10:20-10:35 a.m. South Dakota
10:40-10:50 a.m. Northern Iowa
11-11:15 a.m. Southern Illinois

The Missouri Valley Football Conference enters its 42nd season this year. The 2026 football season kicks off with four MVFC teams playing non-conference opponents Thursday, Aug. 27, and three more teams playing Aug. 29.
The first conference matchup will be Sept. 19 when Youngstown State travels to South Dakota State. The regular season concludes Nov. 21.
Member schools have won 18 football FCS titles, including 14 while playing in the MVFC, and finished as national runner-up on eight occasions, including Illinois State last season. In 2021, 2023 and 2025, six conference schools qualified for the FCS playoffs.
