The Unpacking Future Packers Countdown is a countdown of 100 prospects who the Green Bay Packers could select in the 2026 NFL draft.
Over the past two NFL drafts, Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst has drafted five offensive linemen, including Jordan Morgan in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Gutekunst has sat in the Captain's Chair of Green Bay's war room for eight drafts and he's taken at least one offensive lineman in seven of the eight drafts.
With the Packers in need of a swing tackle and interior depth, it's a safe bet that Gutekunst will draft at least one offensive lineman during the 2026 NFL Draft. A potential target on Day 3 is Ar'maj Reed-Adams. The Texas A&M prospect checks in at No. 88 in the Unpacking Future Packers Countdown.
A three-star recruit out of Texas, Reed-Adams started his collegiate career with the Kansas Jayhawks, where he started nine games at left guard, three at right guard and three at right tackle.
The Texas native transferred to Texas A&M for the 2024 season and started 12 games at right guard. This past season, the Kansas transfer started 13 games at right guard and gave up one sack and 14 pressures.
"Reed-Adams has been a vocal leader in the locker room, choosing to come back after the 2024 season to help Texas A&M make the College Football Playoff, which remains his biggest accomplishment to date," Cameron Ohnysty, the lead writer for Aggieswire, said. "He's extremely versatile, the DeSoto, Texas native can play both guard spots, and kick out to right tackle if needed."
At 6-5, 317 pounds and 34-inch-plus arms, Reed-Adams certainly looks the part of an NFL offensive lineman. The Texas A&M product brings a mauling mentality as a run blocker with the power to drive defenders downfield. He uses that length to initiate leverage. The Kansas transfer looks to punish any defender who is foolish enough to step on the tracks when he gets rolling in space. He rarely misses his targets when he climbs to the second level and engulfs them with his overwhelming power.
"Reed-Adams was a bulldozer on the ground, logging over 450 snaps at guard, and was elite in pin and pull blocking, taking advantage of his 6’5” frame and elite strength," Ohnysty said. "This continued with the Aggies after switching to right guard, earning an elite PFF run blocking grade, including 85.9 in 2024. Overall, Reed-Adams is relentless and plays through every block."
Reed-Adams uses his reach to keep defenders at bay. He has the strength to anchor against power and is a hard player to move from his spot. He has adequate foot quickness to mirror and when his hands land, they deliver devastating blows.
"If Pro Football Focus tells you anything, Reed-Adams was steady in pass protection, earning a 65.2 pass blocking grade, while allowing just one sack and 13 pressures," Ohnysty said. "Going against elite pass rushers in the SEC, as well as facing Miami’s defensive front, these challenges will only help Adams progress in pass protection at the next level, which is the case for most offensive linemen. Overall, his footwork and hand placement still need refining."
The Packers' offensive line took a step back this past season and they could get a facelift this offseason. Rasheed Walker is set to be a free agent and almost certainly won't be back with Jordan Morgan slated to take over at left tackle. Sean Rhyan is set to hit the open market and veterans Elgton Jenkins and Aaron Banks could be cap casualties.
With his mauling mentality and versatilty, Reed-Adams could be an ideal target for the Packers on Day 3 of the draft. He'd bring a no-prisoners attitude that was severely lacking in the group this past season.
"Any team lucky enough to steal him in the later rounds if he isn’t selected earlier is getting a potential first-year starter at either guard spot," Ohnysty said.
It would be shocking to see the Packers cut ties with Banks after inking him to a four-year deal this past offseason. The former San Francisco 49er had his first season with the Packers derailed from the start due to injuries, and it never got back on track. It's safe to assume the Packers will run it back with him and hope for better bill of health.
A starting lineup of Morgan, Banks, a rookie at center, Anthony Belton and Zach Tom looks passable on paper. However the depth behind the starting five is severely lacking.
Reed-Adams would provide quality depth at both guard spots and at right tackle. He could be the exit strategy at left guard in 2027 if Banks has another disastrous season.

Texas A&M OG Ar'maj Reed-Adams' official @ShrineBowl measurements:
HT: 6-5 1/2 (86th percentile)
WT: 317 lbs. (64th percentile)
Hand: 9 7/8" (48th percentile)

Massive length for a guard. Powerful blocker, too
