How about this for a Final Four gift?

Four-star guard Quentin Coleman committed to Illinois on Friday, one day before the Illini take on UConn with a shot at the national championship on the line.

Coleman, out of St. Louis, is the No. 34 player nationally in 247’s 2026 class.

At 6-foot-4 and 180 pounds, the guard signed with Wake Forest earlier in the cycle but reopened his recruitment in March. He visited Champaign this week — and it’s pretty easy to fall in love with a place when they’re in the Final Four.

According to 247, he also had offers from Missouri, Iowa and Saint Louis.

Helluva job to reload after you lose guys like Keaton Wagler and Kylan Boswell this offseason.

Is Quentin the next Keaton? Only time will tell. Let’s focus on Saturday first.
