The NFL combine is in just a couple of days, and nine ClemsonTigers are looking to increase their draft stock. In this series, we're going to dive into each player and break down exactly what they'll need to do in Indy to separate themselves and solidify their draft value.

Wade Woodaz joins iconic Clemson Mikes such as James Skalski and Ben Bouwlare as slow, undersized white linebackers with tons of collegiate production. Woodaz was a backbone of this Clemson defense, but it’s unlikely he can earn a selection in this year's draft off the combine alone. He sits outside the top 300 on many expert boards. However, here’s how he can improve his resume as a UDFA.

How He Could Rise

Surprising athletic testing. He’s supposed to run a 40 in the mid-4.7s, which feels a little off when you look at the tape. If he can run in the 4.6s, he could gain some attention from scouts.

How He Could Fall

Size. If you’re a 235-pound linebacker, you better either be one of the best defenders in college football or run a sub-4.5 40. Woodaz is neither and will need to put on some weight before the combine.
