Promotion officials announced Monday that a UFC Fight Night event will take place July 25 at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. No fights have been announced for the card yet. Expected to precede this event is the pay-per-view show October in Abu Dhabi.

The promotion's most recent trips to Abu Dhabi saw UFC on ABC 9 headlined by Reinier de Ridder, who defeated Robert Whittaker by split decision last July. Petr Yan defeated Marcus McGhee in the co-main event, and went on to dethrone Merab Dvalishvili to capture the bantamweight title at UFC 323.

At UFC 321 this past October, Tom Aspinall's heavyweight title fight against Ciryl Gane ended in a no contest after Aspinall was inadvertently poked in the eyes in Round 1. In the co-main event, Mackenzie Dern defeated Virna Jandiroba to claim the vacant strawweight title.
