UFC OKC video: Dione Barbosa taps Anna Melisano with standing choke

After coming up short as the No. 1 pick on the current season of "The Ultimate Fighter" reality series, Anna Melisano got another setback against Dione Barbosa at UFC Fight Night 281.

Barbosa (10-4 MMA, 4-2 UFC) gave Melisano (6-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) a rude welcome to the octagon Saturday at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City when she got the fight to her world in the grappling department. She locked in a standing rear-naked choke that led to the submission finish at the 4:04 mark of Round 1.

After making her octagon debut in May 2024, Barbosa has had an up-and-down stretch. She's currently on the first two-fight winning streak of her promotional tenure, and will be looking to do more.

"I'm so happy," Barbosa said in her post-fight interview with Daniel Cormier. "It doesn't matter who, where – any time. I will be ready to put on a show. I'm happy to be here in Oklahoma. Thank you so much."
