Sam Patterson is back to his finishing ways.

Patterson (15-3-1 MMA, 5-2 UFC) landed a blistering right down the pipe to finish a bloodied up Santiago Ponzinibbio (30-10 MMA, 12-9 UFC) by TKO at the 3:06 mark of Round 2 in their welterweight bout Saturday at Etihad Arena.

Patterson rebounded from his lackluster loss to Michael Page in March. He called out the winner of next Saturday's UFC Fight Night 283 headliner between Uros Medic and Daniel Rodriguez in Serbia.
