Magomed Ankalaev will look to rebound against a dangerous striker.
Ankalaev (21-2-1 MMA, 12-2-1 UFC) went on a 13-fight unbeaten run to earn a title shot against then light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira at UFC 313. He put an end to Pereira's reign when he defeated him by unanimous decision, but lost the rematch at UFC 320 by first-round TKO.
Rountree (14-7 MMA, 10-7 UFC) went on a five-fight winning streak to earn a shot at Pereira's light heavyweight title at UFC 307. After falling short in a valiant effort against "Poatan," Rountree split his next two appearances – defeating Jamahal Hill, then getting stopped by Jiri Prochazka.
According to Betway, Ankalaev is a -333 favorite to beat former title challenger Rountree, who is a +250 underdog.
