Tai Tuivasa will look to avoid a record-tying losing streak at UFC 331.
Despaigne (6-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) was re-signed by the UFC after scoring going 7-0 under the Karate Combat banner, and scoring a first-round TKO of former heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos at MVP's inaugural MMA event this past May.
Tuivasa (14-10 MMA, 8-10 UFC) is on a seven-fight losing skid, most recently a unanimous decision to Louie Sutherland at UFC Fight Night 275 in May. Tuivasa hasn't won a fight since knocking out former title challenger Derrick Lewis in February 2022.
According to Betway, Despaigne is a huge -500 favorite over the skidding Tuivasa, who is a +350 underdog.
