UCF center Moustapha Thiam has reportedly entered the transfer portal.
Sam Kayser of LeagueRDY was the first to report the move on Wednesday.
The 7-foot-2, 235-pound Thiam finished his first season with the Knights, averaging 10.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.59 blocks in 34 games. His 88 blocks this season were the second-most in program history behind Tacko Fall (94).
According to sources, Thiam is expected to land at another Big 12 school and could receive a multi-million-dollar NIL deal.
Thiam becomes the 11th player to enter the portal since the transfer window opened on March 24, joining guards Keyshawn Hall, Jordan Ivy-Curry, Jaylin Sellers, Mikey Williams, Tyler Hendricks, Nils Machowski, Cameron Simpson, Dior Johnson and forwards JJ Taylor and Rokas Jocius.
With the departures of seniors Darius Johnson, Dallan Coleman and Benny Williams, UCF has guard Poohpha Warakulnukroh and center Elijah Hulsewe on its 2025-26 roster.
Thiam was the highest-ranked player to sign with the Knights when he reclassified to join the program for the 2024-25 season. The Senegal native previously attended DME Academy in Daytona, averaging 14.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.1 blocks during his final season.
UCF has added a few commitments since the transfer window opened on March 24. Forwards Jamichael Stillwell (Milwaukee) and Jordan Burks (Georgetown), center John Bol (Ole Miss) and guards Themus Fulks (Milwaukee), George Beale Jr. (Hampton) and Riley Kugel (Mississippi State).
