I don't know, Zagsblog, Goodman, several other sites were reporting it was Duke or UCLA yesterday. This morning UCLA sites were reporting it could be UCLA.
I kind of doubt you can be totally out of a recruitment and just fool the national media into reporting you are one of the 2 finalists for a top 10 recruit.
Clearly UCLA's staff was wrong they were getting the kid, but then nobody gave them a prayer at getting Looney and they got him. Or did they use marketing to convince him to commit?
Even Premium UA boards were reporting in the last 2 days it was very possible he was picking UCLA.
Seems like a great kid can't fault him at all but I find it a bit silly to suggest that UCLA wasn't actually a factor they just used marketing to convince people they were.
