Tyler Steen avoids suspension for his role in Eagles-Commanders brawl

The Eagles have won back-to-back NFC East titles, and the hard-fought victory over Washington included an epic brawl that saw Tyler Steen, Commanders DT Javon Kinlaw, and Commanders DB Quan Martin all ejected after Saquon Barkley scored on a two-point conversion.

The melee started after Eagles' rookie wide receiver Darius Cooper had words with a Commanders defensive back, and the fistfight started from there. The players were separated, ejections were handed out, and Nick Sirianni took his starters out of the game up 29-10.

There will be no suspensions from Saturday’s altercations between the Eagles and Commanders.

The players’ actions will be reviewed for discipline in the form of fines.
