He's making 20m this season with a player option for 20m NEXT season. WTF?

Gotta be Ryan Anderson.

2nd round pick? Dude only averages a little over 2 assists/game.

Tyler Johnson has a large salary so I'm thinking Anderson may be involved to make it work.

The Suns would likely have to include the Bucks pick I'm guessing.

lol what?

we better not give up anything to swap Anderson for Johnson

I am not sure how Johnsons contract exactly works.

His salary is so high because he signed a poison pill contract that Miami matched which influences the cap value.

James Jones is drunk at the wheel. Unless it's a player-for-player swap with Ryan Anderson, I can't buy this move.

Hopefully we aren't.

The difference is Andersons guarantee next year is smaller than Johnsons, so the appeal to Miami would be about 4 million in cap savings.

But - this means we definitely can't clear more than 15 million or so at max for cap room. So this means he is our pg for next year I would think

Johnson's position is listed as a point guard on Basketball Reference. He is a tough player as I recall.

Man I don’t understand this move if it occurs. Particularly if it hamstrings our offseason.

He’s not wrong

Yeah, loyalty to everyone but the team for which he currently works. Fire him. Now.

2.5 assists, 1.4 turnovers. He is no more of a point guard than Melton or Okobo, and he can't shoot or defend, either. A total waste of a roster spot.

It has to be Anderson.
On a side note, I like TJ as a player, but his salary is insane, even if they swap him and Anderson.
