The Major League Baseball draft will take place July 11–13 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The White Sox have the No. 1 overall pick, followed by Tampa Bay (2), Minnesota (3), San Francisco (4) and Pittsburgh (5) in the top five.
The Giants and manager Tony Vitello also have the No. 29 overall pick in the competitive balance round A.
MLB.com released the top 150 draft prospects, including two Vols.
Tennessee right-handed pitcher Tegan Kuhns is listed as the No. 43 overall prospect, while third baseman Henry Ford is also projected as the No. 137 overall prospect.
UCLA shortstop Roch Cholowsky is listed as the top MLB draft prospect and Alabama shortstop Justin Lebron is the highest ranked player from the SEC (No. 5 overall).
45 Tennessee baseball players have been selected in the MLB draft since 2020. Nine former Vols were drafted in 2025, including four first-round picks and eight selections during the first three rounds.
52 Tennessee players have also been drafted since 2018.
