NBA 2K27, the most popular basketball video game, continues to reveal player ratings ahead of their September 4 release date. Thus far, many former Blue Devils have been recognized, like Kon Knueppel who was ranked as the second-best 3-point shooter and Kyrie Irving, who was ranked as the game's strongest ball-handler.
More Duke alumni were recognized again last week, as two former Blue Devils were named among the top-10 mid-range shooters. To begin with, Kyrie Irving was listed once more, tied for the second-highest spot and a 98 rating with former three-time MVP Nikola Jokic and Wizards guard Tre Johnson. Brandon Ingram who has not been officially moved to the Los Angeles Clippers due to a pending trade involving Kawhi Leonard was ranked eighth on the list with a 96 rating.
As expected, two-time reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was given the top spot and a 99 rating. Jalen Brunson, Cade Cunningham and Kevin Durant were tied for fifth.
