Two Browns' legends represent Cleveland on the Mount Rushmore since 2000.​

Since 2000, there have not been a lot of great sports memories in the city of Cleveland. The early 2000s Indians were as good as it gets, but they were marred by playoff heartbreak, the Browns have had just two winning seasons since the turn of the millennium, and the Cavaliers have only been a true contender during the LeBron years.

It takes a lot to have enough patience to be a Cleveland sports fan, and those of us who still are deserve more than what we have gotten. However, that isn't to say that we haven't had the opportunity to see some truly legendary players.

While the team success has been fleeting, some of the individuals who have put on our city's name have been amazing. Bleacher Report compiled each city's Mount Rushmore of players since the year 2000, and the Browns', even in their struggles, got two of those players.

The two non-Browns guys are fairly obvious, it is Lebron James and José Ramírez. The two Browns players are also fairly obvious; they are two first-ballot Hall-of-Famers.

The first is the Cleveland legend, Joe Thomas. Thomas's career is one of consistent greatness. He was reliable week after week, year after year, even though he saw just one winning season in his career. Thomas was a cornerstone piece on one of the best offensive lines in the NFL, but on a team that just never had the quarterback play they needed.

The other Browns' representative on the Mount Rushmore is future first-ballot Hall-of-Famer Myles Garrett.

Garrett spent nine seasons in Cleveland and had just one Playoff win to show for it. He established himself as the premier pass rusher in all of football and a guy who will walk his way into Canton whenever he decides to hang them up. He will be forever remembered as a Brown for his 2025 season, when he set the all-time sack record with 23 sacks.

The two Browns representatives on Cleveland's Mount Rushmore are more than deserving. They were the only two bright spots in this franchise's history in the last 25 years, and they will live in immortality for this organization for the rest of time.
