Week 15 of the 2025 NFL season will continue on this afternoon with a battle of top contenders as the Green Bay Packers visit the Denver Broncos at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS.
The Broncos notched their 10th straight victory in a 24-17 triumph over the Raiders last Sunday and can officially clinch a playoff spot with a win over the Packers today. Wide receiver Troy Franklin played a small role in that win and we’ll see if he can make a bigger impact while trying to help the team secure a trip to the postseason in today’s contest
Below, we’ll go over Franklin’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 15.
Fantasy Football analysis: Broncos WR Troy Franklin
Franklin caught three of four targets for just 11 yards in last Sunday’s victory over the Raiders, his lowest output of the season. The second-year wideout from Oregon hasn’t been much of a factor since the team returned from their bye a few weeks ago as he has combined for just 32 receiving yards over Denver’s last two games. Some of that can be chalked up to both Pat Bryant and Lil’Jordan Humphrey encroaching on his territory as both men logged more snaps than Franklin in last Sunday’s win.
That should be somewhat of a concern for fantasy managers considering what he has done as Bo Nix’s No. 2 receiving target for most of the year. Franklin was solidly a top-25 fantasy wideout through the first 11 weeks of the season and has since plummeted down into the 30’s. We’ll see if he can get back on track in this huge showdown at home.
Start or sit in Week 15?
Sit. The Packers have severely limited the impact of No. 2 WR’s over the past few weeks and I don’t see that changing in today’s contest. Franklin’s usage over the past few weeks is concerning and I think it’s time to look into other potential WR2/Flex options.
