TROUP, Texas (KETK) — Sabine jumped out to a 13-9 lead after one quarter of play, but the Troup Tigers boys’ basketball squad came back and pulled away late to beat the Cardinals 62-40 on Thursday night.
Troup (17-7 overall, 3-3 district) picked up its’ second-straight win with the victory, while Sabine (7-19 overall, 1-5 district) dropped its’ fourth game in a row.
The fourth-place Tigers will look to keep it going when Troup takes on Arp in Arp on Tuesday, January 27 at 7:30 p.m.
The seventh-place Cardinals will look to snap their four-game losing skid when Sabine hosts Tatum on Tuesday, January 27 at 7:30 p.m.
