Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is in the NFL playoffs for the second time in his career.

He and the No. 3 seed Jaguars will host the No. 6 seed Buffalo Bills (12-5) on Jan. 11 (1 p.m. ET, CBS) at EverBank Stadium in the first round of the NFL playoffs.

Lawrence, a former Clemson football star quarterback, helped the Jaguars go 13-4 during the 2025 season to win the AFC South, clinch the No. 3 seed in the AFC and have a home playoff game.

Still, Lawrence has struggled in the NFL postseason, playing in two playoff games in his career. Here's how he has performed during the NFL playoffs before playing in his third postseason game:

Trevor Lawrence stats in NFL playoffs​


Lawrence is 1-1 in the NFL playoffs. He won his first playoff game against the Los Angeles Chargers at home on Jan. 14, 2023. The Jaguars trailed 27-0 in the first half after he threw four interceptions, but Lawrence responded by throwing four touchdowns to help Jacksonville win 31-30, the fifth-largest comeback win in NFL history.

The Jaguars' luck ran out when they faced the Kansas City Chiefs, losing 27-20 on Jan. 21, 2023. Lawrence threw a touchdown and an interception as the Chiefs eliminated Jacksonville and went on to win the Super Bowl.

In his playoff career, Lawrence is completing 60.5% of his passes for 505 yards, five touchdowns and five interceptions, and rushing for 34 yards on four attempts. He has also been sacked four tackles and has a passer rating of 72.1.

Lawrence completed 60.9% of his throws for 4,007 yards, 29 touchdowns (career high) and 12 interceptions in 17 games this season. He had a passer rating of 91.3, the second highest of his career, and was sacked a career-high 41 times. He also achieved career highs in rushing yards (359) and rushing touchdowns (nine).

He ranks sixth in the NFL in passing yards, fifth in passing touchdowns and 20th in passer rating. Among quarterbacks, he ranked second in rushing touchdowns.

In his final six games this season, Lawrence threw for 1,600 yards for 15 touchdowns and one interception, and rushed for four scores to help the Jaguars finish the regular season on an eight-game win streak.

Lawrence won 13 games this season too, the most in a single season of his career.

Lawrence and the Jaguars will play at home vs. the Buffalo Bills and quarterback Josh Allen in the first round of the NFL playoffs on Jan. 11 (1 p.m. ET, CBS).

The Jaguars and Bills did not play in the 2025 season. They last met in Week 3 of the 2024 season, and the Bills won 47-10.
