Travis Hunter is a high-end draft prospect on both sides of the ball. The Heisman winner is arguably the best cornerback in the 2025 NFL Draft, but Hunter also showed first-round talent at wide receiver while playing both ways at Colorado.

While teams debate where Hunter will focus his talents, he's got a message for any NFL team that demands he only play either offense or defense:

Don't draft him.

Hunter made that clear, via CBS Sports. He'd rather quit than only play one position exclusively.

"It's never playing football again," Hunter told CBS Sports last week. "Because I've been doing it my whole life, and I love being on the football field. I feel like I could dominate on each side of the ball, so I really enjoy doing it."

Hunter is expected to be a top-5 pick in next week's draft, often projected No. 2 to the Cleveland Browns or No. 3 to the New York Giants. Neither team has tipped its hand about which position Hunter would primarily play. Hunter did add that no team he's met with has made the demand that he focus exclusively on WR or CB, and he's met with the Browns and Giants already.
