One for the ladies

The Pack picked up another commit from the transfer portal, 6’11” center Shah Hall, a JUCO transfer from Tuscaloosa Alabama. It came down to a decision between Arkansas and the good guys, and he chose the Wolfpack. Shah looks to be a good fit at backup center behind Kyle Evans.

The rotation is now penciled in; no other additions would be expected to contribute meaningfully this season. The Pack has a solid 8-man rotation. Tennessee ran a 9-man rotation last season, depending on Wilkins’ ability to contribute, the Pack might as well.

Probable Rotation:

  • Point Guard: Preston Edmead, backup: Darius Adams
  • Shooting Guard: Christian Hammond, backup: Darius Adams
  • Wing: Paul McNeil, backup: Christian Hammond
  • Forward: Eemeli Yalaho or Robert Jurkovic, backup: one backs up the other, Zymicah Wilkins?
  • Center: Kyle Evans, backup: Shah Hall
  • Development: Kingston Whitty, Jacari Brim, Comeh Emuobor, RJ Keene

Shah Hall Stats:

  • Ht / Wt: 6’11” / 240
  • Position: center
  • Experience: 3 seasons JUCO (one medical redshirt season)
  • PPG / RPG / APG: 9.4 ppg / 7.8 rpg / 0.7 apg / 2.2 blocks
  • Shooting: 65.1% / 0% (0-0) / 55.3%

’25-’26 season Highs:

  • Points: 20 pts (2x), double figures in 16 of 30 games
  • Rebounds: 17 rebs, double figures in 8 games
  • Assists: 3 assists
  • Blocks: 9 blocks, 5 blocks twice

Background:

Hall is from Tuscaloosa Al. Coming out of high school he initially needed to work on his grades and attended Northwest Mississippi CC. He transferred after his freshman season to Shelton State CC in Tuscaloosa to be close to home.

’25-’26: Shelton State – Played 30 games, started 28, averaged 15.6 minutes

’24-’25: Shelton State – played 1 game, injured his foot and was out for the season. Medical redshirt.

’23-’24: Northwest Mississippi – Played 14 games, averaged 3.1 ppg / 4.9 rpg in 16.5 minutes per game.
