One of Michigan basketball's top targets in the transfer portal witnessed the Wolverines' ultimate celebration.
Juke Harris, a consensus top-five player in the transfer portal, was in Ann Arbor wearing a blue Michigan jacket with a maize "M" on the left breast as the parade went down South University and turned into the athletic complex.
The Free Press reported earlier this week that he would be on hand for a visit this weekend and that's exactly what he did, taking in the sights and sounds as thousands of fans lined the street to celebrate Michigan's national championship.
Harris said winning was a key factor when deciding where he would be next year.

"Yeah, it's been super chaotic but it's been fun," Harris told the Free Press. [I'm looking for] a winning program and somewhere I can continue to play my game − that's about it."
Harris was a second-team All-ACC guard was one of the top-15 scorers in the country in 2025-26, averaging 21.4 points per game to go with 6.5 rebounds per game. He stands 6 feet 7 and 200 pounds, but would be big enough to play the wing for Michigan next season as it looks to replace Yaxel Lendeborg. Alternatively, he could serve as a true shooting guard alongside five-star recruit Brandon McCoy, though Trey McKenney will get a lot of run at that spot.
Harris, who scored 750 points for the Demon Deacons last year, said he doesn't need to hear a certain pitch to choose a program, but sees himself fitting into the greater picture in Ann Arbor should he choose to come to U-M.
"Whatever they need me to do," Harris said of what he would envision his role as. "Whatever gets the team to win."
Harris, who has two years of eligibility remaining, shot 44.4% from the floor and 33.2% on 3s while serving as Wake Forest's primary option a season ago. He's 60 points short of 1,000 for his career and will be one of the most coveted guards in the portal − ESPN has him as the No. 4 available player on the move.
As far as when he will make a decision, that's up in the air. Harris has put his name into the 2026 NBA Draft to get feedback and says he will pick what to do with his future when the time is right.
"I don't have a timeline right now," he said.
