Top Oshkosh, Fond du Lac returners in passing, rushing, receiving and tackles

High school football practice is underway as Oshkosh and Fond du Lac teams get ready for Week 1, which starts on Thursday, Aug. 20.

With pads on, many athletes are looking to improve their stats from a season ago and make long playoff runs.

Here’s a look at the top five returning Oshkosh and Fond du Lac athletes in passing, rushing, receiving and tackles.

Passing​

1. Austin Harmsen, Oakfield: 101-149, 1,662 yards, 28 touchdowns
2. Brady Bauer, Lourdes Academy: 123-174, 1,620 yards, 15 touchdowns
3. Keegan Kell, Lomira: 65-105, 965 yards, 8 touchdowns
4. Zander Lenz, St. Mary’s Springs: 60-96, 902 yards, 8 touchdowns
5. Eli Michalkiewicz, Fond du Lac: 50-90, 890 yards, 8 touchdowns

Rushing​

1. Brady Bauer, Lourdes Academy: 158 carries, 1,197 yards, 23 touchdowns
2. Joe Promersberger, Mayville: 92 carries, 831 yards, 14 touchdowns
3. Tanner Schneider, Mayville: 103 carries, 750 yards, 8 touchdowns
4. Sam Gloudemans, Valley Christian: 65 carries, 718 yards, 13 touchdowns
5. Elijah James, Lomira: 83 carries, 519 yards, 6 touchdowns

Receiving​

1. Lucas Neuens, Lourdes Academy: 62 receptions, 853 yards, 9 touchdowns
2. Ryan Quigley, Winneconne: 34 receptions, 700 yards, 8 touchdowns
3. Owen Kloosterboer, Waupun: 25 receptions, 562 yards, 4 touchdowns
4. Jaxon Sabel, St. Mary’s Springs: 19 receptions, 397 yards, 5 touchdowns
