With the 2026 high school football season quickly approaching, the Beaver County Times’ series of the top 50 high school football players in the Beaver Valley rolls on.

As we enter the top 20 area players, these individuals played crucial roles in the team’s success, from two of the area’s top returning receivers to others who helped their respective program reach the WPIAL championship.

20. Akiva Woods, Aliquippa​


Position: WR/DB

Graduation Year: 2027

Height: 5-foot-10

Weight: 170 lbs.

About: While mostly known for his work as a defensive back, earning first-team Parkway Conference honors after racking up 58 total tackles, Woods will be called upon to become one of the team’s top receivers. With the graduation of a pair of the team’s top receiving threats in QaLil Goode and Josh Lay, the senior will aim to build upon a junior campaign where he tallied eight receptions for 136 yards and a touchdown.

19. Aidan Gaydosz, Riverside​


Position: QB

Graduation Year: 2028

Height: 6-foot

Weight: 170 lbs.

About: Gaydosz had a strong sophomore campaign for Riverside, completing 57 percent of his passes for 1,333 yards, throwing for 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. The junior gunslinger also racked up 267 rushing yards and three scores.

18. Mylez Greene, Aliquippa​


Position: OL/DL

Graduation Year: 2027

Height: 5-foot-10

Weight: 250 lbs.

About: Greene will be one of the top returning linemen to the Aliquippa squad, following a year where he recorded 57 total tackles and five for a loss.

17. Garrett Warsing, Central Valley


Position: LB

Graduation Year: 2028

Height: 6-foot

Weight: 200 lbs.

About: The junior returns for Central Valley as one of the team’s top tacklers after racking up 88 total tackles, three for a loss and a sack. With the graduation of Ethan Shearer, Warsing will have an opportunity to make an even larger impact.

16. Xavier Clark, Beaver Falls​


Position: QB/DB

Graduation Year: 2028

Height: 5-foot-10

Weight: 145 lbs.

About: The sophomore broke out for Beaver Falls and helped the team reach the postseason after an 0-10 year in 2024. Clark completed 50 percent of his passes for 662 yards, while also rushing for 723 with 12 total touchdowns. Along with his work commanding the offense, Clark also was a force in the secondary, finishing the year with three interceptions, two pass breakups and 26 total tackles.

15. Kaden Bailey, Freedom Area​


Position: RB/DB

Graduation Year: 2027

Height: 5-foot-11

Weight: 175 lbs.

About: Bailey was 40 yards off a 1,000-yard rushing season his junior year, running for 960 yards, averaging 7.3 yards per carry and 11 touchdowns. He was also a unanimous first-team selection at defensive back in the Midwestern Conference.

14. Avery Bokor, Hopewell​


Position: WR

Graduation Year: 2028

Height: 6-foot

Weight: 185 lbs.

About: Bokor returns to Hopewell for his junior campaign as one of the top receivers in the Beaver Valley, hauling in 27 receptions for 473 yards and four touchdowns.

13. Cameron Mills, Ellwood City​


Position: LB

Graduation Year: 2028

Height: 6-foot-2

Weight: 205 lbs.

About: Mills had a breakout season for Ellwood City his sophomore year, tallying 73 total tackles, seven for a loss and a sack.

12. Ethan Bosco, Central Valley​


Position: LB

Graduation Year: 2029

Height: 5-foot-9

Weight: 150 lbs.

About: Bosco will be another key returning piece to Central Valley’s linebacker core after having a breakout freshman season, posting 85 total tackles, 13 for a loss and five sacks.

11. Tre Cameron, Hopewell​


Position: WR

Graduation Year: 2028

Height: 5-foot-10

Weight: 135 lbs.

About: Cameron is Beaver Valley’s top returning receiver entering the 2026 season after the junior put together a strong campaign, racking up 28 receptions for 586 yards and six touchdowns.
