Blazers Lead: Tom Dundon explained the hotel room story in Phoenix Says that since the Play-In game was scheduled so late, the hotel they were staying at wanted them to pay for an extra night and did not offer late checkout So they did that for the coaches and players, but for the staff, including Tom, since a ballroom downstairs was already reserved for lunch at 1:45, they did not pay for an extra room and instead had them hang out in the ballroom “If that’s too hard for people, then I’m not right for them. I want that culture”
