Here is the Article for today about the Suns on Azcentral:

My computer's running really slowly right now and I can't get back to azcentral.com to post the article in its entirety.
But I really like Tom Gugliota's comments here. We should've beaten those 3 crappy eastern conference bottom dwellers by 20. I don't pretend to believe that those are bad teams. There's really no bad teams in the league. However, if we can beat Dallas by 30, we can be up by 20 at some point at home against the worst 3 teams in the league. It seems like Joe Johnson and Frank Johnson are just kind of making excuses for our mediocrity by saying stuff like, "It's the ups and downs of the NBA, that's how it goes sometimes." The Lakers haven't had ups and downs like that. Either have the Pacers. Sure, the Lakers are more talented than we are, with a better coach, but we have the opportunity with the schedule we've had to be like 10-4, not 7-7.
Now obviously you can't lose to the Nuggets by 30 and you can't lose to the Hawks at home, among other things, but it's not those losses that I'm upset about anymore. Those are in the past, you really can't do anything about it. However, our attitude concerening those losses, and every other one we've had this season, does worry me. What is Frank Johnson telling the guys? My guess is it's more like what JJ was saying, and less like what Googs was saying. I understand that the people that play for the Suns are human beings, and expecting them to give it their all, 110% every night no matter the conditions is unrealistic over an 82 game season, but it should be closer to that than it has been. I'm not sure if I can totally fault our physical effort, because that seems to be alright - not perfect - but somewhat satisfactory. However, our mental effort - execution, knowing when to run, when to slow it down, recently with turn-overs, not having defensive lapses - that kind of stuff has not been up to par. IMO.
And the problem is, if coach Frank Johnson doesn't stress that it needs to get better, and maybe more importantly, find a way to get the guys to actually play like it matters on a consistent basis on the court, than it's not going to change. I don't want to go 41-41.
