With Tennessee Titans training camp about to kick off in less than a week, one of the biggest questions is what will happen with the interior of the offensive line. Of all areas on the team, what happens at center and right guard will go a long way in determining the fate of the season.
In this training camp preview, Titans Wire will take a look at the offensive line and the players battling for playing time.
Entering camp, three starters are pretty much set: Dan Moore, Peter Skoronski, and JC Latham. While the NFL waits for the Titans to lock up Skoronski on an extension, those three should enter camp focused on improving their craft under new line coach Carmen Bricillo.
Both Moore and Latham have to be better than they were in 2025. Like the majority of the offensive line, both of them were inconsistent and must take a step forward in 2026. Behind them, Austin Deculus, Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson, Ryan Hayes, and Aamil Wagner will be battling for the swing tackle and depth positions.
The Titans added Deculus on a one-year deal during the offseason, and he brings NFL experience to the offense, but he will have to beat out Crenshaw-Dickson for the swing tackle role. Hayes and Wagner have a shot, and general manager Mike Borgonzi could decide to bring in another veteran.
This will be one area that everyone will be monitoring throughout training camp and the preseason. While Skoronski has the left guard position locked down, his running mate on the right side is an unknown, with Cordell Volson and Jackson Slater battling for the starting role.
Volson appears to have a slight edge as camp opens due to his experience, but Slater played well in limited spurts in 2025 and could surprise. Tennessee selected Fernando Carmona in the draft, and he too could be in the mix as he gets comfortable in the system. Garrett Dellinger and Drew Moss round out the guards competing in camp, but will need to show a lot to have a chance to move up the depth chart.
Tennessee signed Austin Schlottmann as an unrestricted free agent, drafted Pat Coogan out of Indiana, and added Andre James late in the offseason, and all three will battle for the starting role once camp opens.
Schlottmann seems to have an early advantage due to his familiarity with the scheme and with offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, but both James and Coogan could surprise with solid camps.
