The Tennessee Titans have been quite active so far during the NFL's legal tampering period. They've added some key players in much-needed areas, and they likely aren't done yet. While they continue to work with the free agency market, they still have the 2026 NFL Draft to prepare for next month.
With teams adding players now, we're getting a better idea of what each team might do when the draft actually arrives in April. ESPN's Field Yates released a new mock draft this week, and he's predicting something we haven't seen for the Titans yet this offseason.
Of course, the Titans would love to add a dynamic receiver like Carnell Tate to their ranks, but with Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike waiting in the wings, there would be a wild competition for who is going to line up opposite Calvin Ridley. Especially with the addition of Wan'Dale Robinson, the Titans don't need to use their first-round draft pick on a wide receiver.
Many other analysts believe the Titans will select running back Jeremiyah Love out of Notre Dame, while still others predict they'll be on the defensive side of the ball and pick up an edge rusher. Yes, they signed John Franklin-Myers, but they're going to need more than one edge rusher. And it's definitely in their best interest to draft a young edge rusher that Robert Saleh can develop.
Many would love to see the Titans add a dynamic offensive weapon to their ranks with their first-round pick, but you must remember that the new head coach is a defensive guy, and the Titans' defense needs way more work than their offense. We'll see what they ultimately do when the draft comes in April.

Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State
Much of this offseason for Tennessee will be dedicated to improving the supporting cast around second-year quarterback Cam Ward. Signing slot receiver Wan'Dale Robinson was a good start, but adding Tate would further that commitment. He is a sure-handed, nuanced and detailed route runner who averaged over 17 yards per reception during his final college season. Tate is among the most pro-ready prospects and would carve out a significant role in Tennessee from the jump.
