Titans add pass rush in early 2027 mock draft by Yahoo! Sports

The Tennessee Titans have done a great job overhauling their defense throughout the offseason, but adding more depth and playmakers remains a must. While they added some talent along the defensive front, adding another pass rusher may be a top priority for them next offseason.

Ryan Moran of Yahoo Sports sees the same thing, and has the Titans selecting a dynamic edge in his way-too-early 2027 NFL mock draft.

No. 7: Tennessee Titans - Dylan Stewart, South Carolina - EDGE

The Tennessee Titans could be coveting a dominant speed rusher off the edge. Dylan Stewart out of South Carolina would give them that presence.

Stewart could end up as one of the best overall prospects in the 2027 NFL Draft. He has abnormal movement skills at 6-foot-5.

Over the course of his first two years at South Carolina, he had only 11 sacks but an impressive 6 forced fumbles. As a junior, anticipate an uptick in sack production from Stewart.

With Jermaine Johnson in the final year of his contract and Femi Oladejo an unknown, it is no surprise that a speed rusher tops the list after the team passed on one in the 2026 NFL Draft to select Carnell Tate. Tennessee did take Keldric Faulk later in the first round, but he is more of the big end in Robert Saleh’s system and lacks the explosive twitch of a pure speed rusher, something Stewart could supply.
