In just two days, the world will wait with (not so) bated breath to see who the Tennessee Titans will select with the top overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft. It's not really a secret, though, is it? What we're really waiting for is Roger Goodell to announce that the Titans have selected Miami quarterback Cam Ward, and it seems we're getting even more confirmation that will be the case.

The Titans said they would listen to offers for the first pick in the draft, and calls came in, but no trades were made. With the draft just two days away now, general manager Mike Borgonzi finally spoke about their decision.

#Titans GM Mike Borgonzi said there were offers and they listened the whole time. "As we got towards the end of the process we decided that ultimately we're going to stay."

NFL Insider Albert Breer took it a step further:

Titans GM Mike Borgonzi: "We've come to a consensus, the entire organization, to stay at that pick."

They'll pick at 1. And it'll be Miami QB Cam Ward.

While most of the league assumed that this was the case, the Titans appeared to be still taking calls for offers. And maybe they were, and they just decided not to accept those offers. The assumption is that the price would be high to get them out of that spot, and it's unlikely any of the teams that wanted it could offer the Titans what they needed or wanted.

Now, though, the Titans have finally made it clear that they have decided to stay with the top overall pick, thereby nullifying any further conversation about it. The Titans will keep the pick. And if everything goes the way they've shown it will, Breer is right to assume the Titans will select Cam Ward.
