Jordan Nakhoune netted 26 points to help Ansonia secure a 74-70 boys basketball win over Torrington Thursday night.
Mykah McNeil chipped in 20 points for Ansonia.
Chris De La Cruz scored a game-high 31 points in the loss for Torrington.
Owen Fenn contributed 17 points and Dior Germosen had 14 as well for Torrington.
In girls basketball action, Kiley Harding surpassed 1,000 career points as she produced 15 points to lead Oxford to a 54-50 victory over St. Paul.
Dakota Rudemyer followed with 12 for Oxford and Rachel Florin added 10.
Kiley Bohn led St. Paul with 19 points.
