Three-star wide receiver Anthony Williams, a standout at Oceanside Collegiate Academy in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, committed to North Carolina on Sunday, giving the Tar Heels their 14th pledge of the 2026 recruiting class and eighth in the last week.
Williams chose UNC over East Carolina, Liberty and Virginia Tech.
Williams (6-foot-1, 200 pounds) became the eighth prospect to commit to North Carolina in less than a week,
As a junior last season, Williams helped Oceanside Collegiate to the South Carolina Class 3A state championship. He caught 61 passes for 1,061 yards (17.4 yards per catch) and 12 touchdowns in 15 games. As a sophomore in 2023 at Fort Dorchester High in Summerville, S.C., Williams caught 25 passes for 504 yards (20.2 yards per catch) and three touchdowns.
