This is the most quiet I've ever seen before a BIG Division Game.

No trash talking and nothing but good things to say about each other as both teams need this game to bring thier seasons back from the brink.

We both know what the other teams weaknesses are and they are quite profound and both teams are looking once again to take advantage of the weaknesses that each team presents.

You have to give an edge for that stadium and the way it was built to echo sound.I'm pretty sure the weather is gonna cooperate in the 30% range for Sunday after raining all week bigtime.

Both teams want to take out the others qb.I think both teams want to take as short a time as they can to get the ball out and I know Whiz due to last weeks game is gonna try to run the dang ball whether we can or not.

Its okay to run when we are mixing in the right amount of passes as we did on the first drive. The last scoring drive was 3 plays in less than a minute for a touchdown so that one does'nt count.

The timing was off in the third quarter and we had a major drive killer penalty on Howler after a 25 yard gain into texan land.Surely a run would have followed that successfull reception and run.But we had to try and regain the penalty yards through the air and failed on third and long with a sack from our great o-line.:D

The same 9er team looked like it just ran over the seahawk team after we played them close, while missing Breaston and Boldin played hurt. And the wonderfull Long played for us instead.Leaving us to throw the ball to our great hands fullback.

Its gonna be a war of gameplans and I have no idea what to expect in having something creative from Whiz and Grimm and Coach Davis on "D" to get to Baldy quick. He'll have protection due to Williams covering his blindside for the first time ever and using the fullback and thier great recieving tight end to block could be good and bad.Branch has only had 10 catches all year so mainly Housh is being thrown to as is Burleson. They are getting RAC too.

Can we get the same from Fitz,Boldin,Breaston and Urban?Man is it a shame Beanie did'nt come with hands to catch the ball. What a weapon he could be.At least Timmy can and he'll be back at it for sure in this game.

This should be the worst run game we've played all year so far.So I hope the gameplan is all about getting some hands on that qb.Send 3 guys around Williams' side and see what happens.

A MUST HAVE GAME for both teams and its so quiet the writers from both teams have nothing to say all week.NOTHING!!!From at least 3 big newspapers. This Williams guy started the last two games of last season and one of those was a win by us against them.I'm sure we've pulled that film out and looked at it a ton.

We need momentum going into New York.#1 run stopping team is just what New York does'nt want to see.The rookie Hicks the giants got has already started to pay divedends since we won't be seeing Plaxico for at least a couple years.Playing the giants after they have just played the number one passing team in the league in the Saints is gonna be interesting.:D

Anyone else's borders REALLY messed up?
All of the buttons have been totally screwed up for several days now!

I wouldn't be able to use the site at all if I didn't already know by memory where stuff is located...

I'm with you on this one Doug------IT IS ALMOST EERILY QUIET-----

I am anticipating a knock down/drag out game between these two teams Sunday. I don't see this one being easy, no matter who wins.

I do hope that Whiz has us run the ball, (at least enough to bring some balance to our offensive attack). That could go a long way toward keeping our defense fresh for later in the game when they will probably be called upon again for something big.

If we run like we did the first series against Houston, we will achieve that balance, and that should help our passing game as well, because it will force Seattle to play honest on defense. Meanwhile, if we can run some, we will beat on their defense every time we run, making them a little less able to respond late in the game. That could be a big factor at the end of this t hing.

I've got a feeling this one will go down to the wire, and it just might be one of those games for the ages.

i think this is one of the biggest games of the year. If the Cards win, they pretty much have righted things and will probably go on to win the division pretty easily. If they lose, they're looking at the Giants next week and being 2-4 with already having 2 losses in the division. They can still recover form it but it will make it alot more difficult. I don't think anybody realistically sees the Cards going into NY on a Sunday night and winning. They can but it's not likely. They win at Seattle and the worst they can be is 3-3 with an easy stretch of schedule coming up.
