The Kansas City Chiefs decided to completely rebuild their secondary during the 2026 offseason, and veteran defensive back Nazeeh Johnson was among the most recognizable players to find themselves on the outside looking in when the team made its decisions about who would stay and who would go.

A two-time Super Bowl champion, Johnson has a considerable amount of valuable experience that should serve him well wherever he lands in free agency.

On May 19, NFL insider Jordan Schultz revealed that Johnson was visiting with the Chicago Bears after previously taking meetings with the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles.

While Johnson was never a cornerstone of Steve Spagnuolo's defense during his time with the Chiefs, his outstanding contributions won't be forgotten by Kansas City's fans any time soon.

During his three regular-season campaigns on the Chiefs' active roster, Johnson appeared in 29 games (six starts) and tallied 66 combined tackles, three passes defensed, and one sack.
