Real Madrid midfielder Thiago Pitarch could be headed to Málaga on a loan deal, according to a report from BeSoccer. The Spanish midfielder emerged as a first-team player this previous season but the club is exploring deals to clubs where he could continue his development while getting consistent, relevant minutes.
A deal with Málaga makes sense for all parts involved. The Andalusian side have just made their return to LaLiga after beating Almería in the Playoffs, so Pitarch could get quality minutes in a Primera División side.
Either way, a deal is not expected to happen until José Mourinho makes a decision about Pitarch. Ceballos’ departure combined with a potential Camavinga exit could mean that the Portuguese coach finds Pitarch valuable, so Madrid will likely wait a few weeks before trying to complete a loan deal for the Spanish midfielder.
