because it is so unfair that it is cheating if you have stud WR and a good QB with time. Seriously, why even keep record books for the WR position now because the records are warped. I saw what Julio Jones did today and the guy is an exceptional receiver but then I ask myself, what would a Mike Quick or a Roy Green do today if given the advantage that he has. Peterson has to play perfect while completely restricted in what the Cardinals ask him to do under the modern rules, the fact he has had some games where he did shut a stud WR down is unbelievable under the restraints his position plays under. Cardinals are one of the few to put a CB on a island because you have to be insanely good to even have a chance... go back to the old rules NFL, I'm sick of these rules enhanced performances by WRs!

I have a prediction, I know what the next game changing rule is going to be... the NFL is going to allow the OL to hold and use player safety as an excuse to enact it when all they really want is more points, and it won't hurt the Cardinal defense because they allow the opposing offense holding lol

+1.

Hence why all year I have squashed any talk about how good any CB or DB is. The game is very much different, even from last year.

Personally, I think it is ruining the game, and its getting to that point of "is this really what I am paying to watch, or just a shell of it."
