This would be the funniest thread ever if I didn't understand your pain. Any one who cheers for the cards is a TRUE fan and hopefully you will one day be rewarded for your devotion.

I was a Cardinal fan because I lived in Arizona for 8 years. When I moved to Northern California in 2004, I did a reassessment. I looked at the 49ers and the Raiders to determine my "new" team. But then I realized something--I didn't like those teams. I did like the Cardinals. So I stuck with them. They were my team for 8 seasons in the desert, there's no reason they shouldn't still be my team merely because I moved. (It probably didn't hurt that both the Raiders and 49ers suck.)

Not only am I a diehard Cardinals fan (I guess because I love punishment), but I've turned my son into one as well.

I'm waiting for the courts to strip my son from me for that one.
