Well, that's the type of soccer Americans are much more used to. We are LUCKY to be done only 1 goal. Belgium was very close to at least 2 more goals and the goal we got had some good fortune for us.

Oh, we can score a goal, maybe even two because Belgium isn't that strong in their defense for a top team. But, we cannot play even remotely as bad as we played in our back 1/3rd and even hope to keep it from something like the 5-2 shellacking this team gave us in May.
For sure. They are just watching the ball and letting them play it in the box. That’s what led to both goals. I’d rather see them take a penalty than play that soft. If you look at the other side, it’s rare that Belgium are giving any space.

Reem is just a statue in the box. For what he can still bring until it gets to that point, he's an absolute liability this game in the box
Pulisic has been bad. Floating in defense and really loose touches going forward
Dest needs to do something connected and not just try to draw a foul
They have had some good moments and can get a goal back - just need to be a lot better on the ball and much more organized and decisive in defense - just everyone is free

Very disappointing, unorganized on defense, poor & timid passing when in possession. I don’t even know what sub the coach should make because I really can’t point at one player that is playing poorly because nobody is really playing well.

Yeah Dest wasn’t much of a factor ar either end. I usually don’t agree with lalas but he’s right. Dest and freeman were awful particularly on that 2nd goal for Belgium. Not sure what they were doing watching the ball. Reyna is already being positive.
