The Boston Celtics need a healthy Jaylen Brown to repeat as NBA champions. Or at least that is the position of Boston broadcaster and Celtics champion forward Cedric Maxwell -- and a pretty reasonable one, at that. As a fellow NBA Finals Most Valuable Player award winner, Maxwell knows what it takes for a forward to help put his team in position to win it all, and even more critically, in the context of the Celtics organization.

The beloved broadcaster of the CLNS Media "Cedric Maxwell" podcast, the eponymous Cedric Maxwell in conversation with his co-host Josue Pavon, recently opened up about how he is feeling regarding the knee injury that has hindered Brown at the end of the 2024-25 regular season -- and how critical it is for the Georgia native to be as healthy as he can be as Boston gears up for the first round of the postseason.
