Another top-5 road win for the Illini. I can get used to this.
Here’s some of the best reactions to Illinois’ big win Sunday afternoon in Lincoln.
BANGGGG
This team is so much fun.#illinihttps://t.co/M34DTRpHh6

Want to have a conversation about Big Ten Player of the Year?
It better include Keaton Wagler.
28, 5, and 5 today in Illinois' win at Nebraska.
Firmly in play with guys like Braden Smith, Jeremy Fears, and Yaxel Lendeborg. https://t.co/fq21qHE316

What a win for @IlliniMBB over @HuskerMBB in Lincoln. The Illini have two top 10 wins in a row (at Purdue) without injured Kylen Boswell. The Illini are a serious Big Ten title/Final Four contender.

Final: Illinois 78, Nebraska 69
It's hard not to see Illinois as a really serious title contender at this point. Road wins at Purdue and at Nebraska in the last 8 days is about as good as it gets.
Keaton Wagler has emerged as a consistently elite weapon. He's so poised.

Post-game I-L-L thoughts:
1) Brilliant offensive execution in second half — spacing, passing, execution at the rim and beyond the arc.
2) Better closeouts on defense. Nebraska really cooled along the arc.
3) Tomislov Ivisic's passing was genius.
4) REVENGE GAME!!!!
5)…

Two Top 5 Road wins in 8 days for the Illini.
Tough group that wore down Nebraska in the second half with their physicality and rebounding.
And Wagler….beyond special.

Entering the weekend there were 3 B1G teams that hadn't lost a home game in conference play this season.
Michigan State lost at home to Michigan Friday.
UCLA lost at home to Indiana Saturday.
Nebraska lost at home to Illinois Sunday.
