The USGA has announced that the U.S. Open will return to Inverness Club in 2045. It previously hosted the U.S. Open in 1920, 1931, 1957, and 1979.

It marks the first albatross at PGA National Resort (Champion Course) since it began hosting the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches in 2007

Nico Echavarria, winner of last week's Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, opens his first round with a 6-under 30 on the front nine at Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge.

Final-round tee times will run from 9:30 a.m. - 1:50 p.m.

Sepp Straka (T3/-9) equals his best score in 19 rounds at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard with a 6-under 66 (R2/2025).

Straka had 11 over-par rounds and was a collective 39-over in his first 13 rounds at the event; since that time, he has five of six rounds in the 60s and is 21-under.
