MLS announces an opening weekend TV viewership number of 9.7 million live match viewers across all platforms, a 59% increase from 2025’s initial weekend.This comes after the decision to disband MLS Season Pass & make all MLS games available with a normal Apple TV+ subscription.

MLS announces Yannick Bright has been given an additional one-game ban for violating the non-discrimination policy in the recent 3-2 win vs the Colorado Rapids.
Bright used a racial slur towards an opponent, calling the opponent a “b*tch *ss n*gga.”
