What a game last night! At one point in the fourth quarter the Liberty cut it down to 4, and they looked like they were going into autopilot. The Mercury responded and actually put the game away. They kept Bonner in, and she was getting abused by Stewart. I kept yelling, "What is the coach doing? They need to get Mack back in to help with the Stewart." Then Bonner hit the shot of the game that put the Liberty away. An inbounds play with two seconds to go. Bonner was moving fast toward the inbounder and was maybe parallel to the basket at best, heading out of bounds, and she put up a shot that went in! It was a crazy, high difficulty shot!
Bonner has the all time rebounding total for WNBA playoffs, set in that last game. She is only adding to her record in the following games against Minny!
