Arizona’s Koa Peat is remaining in the NBA Draft, league sources told
@ClutchPoints
.

The feeing over the last week through workouts is that Peat received a late first-round promise, but his reps at Klutch Sports believe he is still a top-20 pick.

@jasonscheer was first.

Vanderbilt All-SEC point guard Tyler Tanner has withdrawn from the NBA Draft and decided to return to Vanderbilt, he tells ESPN. He earned honorable mention All-American honors last year, averaging 19.5 points and 5.1 assists per game.

Jeremy Fears Jr. is withdrawing from the 2026 NBA Draft and will return to Michigan State next season, per his agent Mike Miller.

Will be an All-American entering the 2026-27 season.

Fears had second-round options, but opted to return to East Lansing.

we have a middle second round draft pick

when we do our re-signings it'll be hard to stay under budget

me thinks we're trading - but not trading for anybody - just for more second round draft picks - then we try and move up

I hope the Suns stay far away from Koa, even if he falls to them in the 2nd. 6'7" PF with no range outside of 10' and poor FT shooting is a major red flag

Yaxel is a lottery pick, from what I've seen mocked. It'll be costly to get that high.

Um what? He's 23 years old and he is a potential mentor to guys older than him?

That is some of the worst grammar I've ever seen. Proofreading is your friend.

They really liked Lendeborg in last year's draft, too, until he dropped out. They were likely going to trade up into the late first to get him then.

He would be a good pick, although I'm not sure how high they will have to move up. He has been slotted at anywhere from #10 to the late lottery from most of the mocks I've seen.

Yeah, how the hell is a rookie supposed to be a mentor?

"Yeah guys, listen up, I was in a battle against Rutgers last spring and I learned a lot!"

Yaxel Lendeborg spent time in Yuma, AZ:

"

Arizona Western College

As a freshman at Arizona Western in 2020–21, Lendeborg played in 14 games and averaged 6.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.[5] The following season, he appeared in 31 games and averaged 12.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game, leading his conference in rebounds and was named a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-American and the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC) Player of the Year.[6] In the 2022–23 season with the Matadors, he was named a second-team All-American, the ACCAC Player of the Year for a consecutive season and first-team all-region after averaging 17.2 points and an NJCAA-leading 13.0 rebounds per game.[7] He finished his tenure at Arizona Western as the NJCAA's all-time leading rebounder with 429 total"

Supposedly 6'9". That's more like it.

: The Phoenix Suns Held A Pre-Draft Workout With Sam Hoiberg.
Hoiberg just worked out for the Pacers, too.

"The interesting aspect of this workout is that the Pacers currently have no draft picks. Indiana lost the No. 5 overall pick in a trade with the LA Clippers for center Ivica Zubac and does not have a second-round selection."

Lendeborg was an excellent, versatile NCAA player, but I don't really see the NBA-potential since he has no elite skills.

He has NBA level defense, rebounding, and shooting ability. If you want "elite" skills, you are talking about only the highest level lottery guys, anyway.

Shooting probably yes, rebounding, defense I'm not so sure, but we will see.

I did not talk about elite skills, I talked about having at least one and my point was that he doesn't have any, IMO.

Even some lower rated players have one: in case of Carr athleticism, playmaking for Christian Anderson. etc.

Young core. Two of those are veterans.
