Whenever you are a late-round draft pick, you have your work cut out for you.
In the case of Tez Johnson, he has some extra skills that should allow him to have a better chance to make the roster than most. Being able to make plays and being around veterans will also help, and as it turns out, he has a leg up thanks to where the team placed him in the locker room.
The Bucs shared his discovery of where his locker would be for camp and who his neighbor would be: Mike Evans. The result was priceless and a must-watch.
“Oh shoot is this Mike (Evans)? Yeah, I’ll probably move away from cuh, probably move away from Mike. Let him have his own.”
The equipment manager then chimes in and says, “Yeah, usually he has both of these lockers but for camp we’ve got to make room.”
The entire video is worth a watch, and it is nice to see how much the opportunity means to Johnson to be so close to a future Hall of Famer like Evans.
