University of Texas wide receiver and NFL Draft hopefulIsaiah Bond turned himself in to Frisco, TX police Thursday morning on an outstanding warrant for sexual assault, NFL Media reported. Bond posted bond shortly after and was released.

Bond has been a high-interest prospect ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. He scheduled top-30 visits with the Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans. He is slated to attend the Atlanta Falcons’ local prospect day. The Bills privately worked out Bond last Friday following a dinner meeting, and he is scheduled to officially visit Buffalo on Tuesday.

But now those meetings and his draft interest are in jeopardy. Bond released a statement obtained by NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.

"Regarding the accusation made against me, I would appreciate the time and opportunity to defend myself and prove the claims made, patently false," Bond said in the statement. "I am in full cooperation with the authorities and will remain a willing and active participant in the investigation. Unfortunately, claims like these prove to be harmful to all involved, absent full review. I kindly request that all reserve judgement until the authorities provide a complete report based on truth and evidence."

Bond, who transferred to Texas from Alabama in the spring of 2024, has been widely applauded for his speed and athleticism. He clocked a 4.39-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine and improved those times to 4.34 and 4.35 at Texas’ Pro Day. This past season, Bond caught 34 passes for 540 yards and five touchdowns for the Longhorns. Over 41 career games between Alabama and Texas, he recorded 99 receptions for 1,428 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Bond started 12 games for Texas in 2024, missing two games due to injury. He was named an honorable mention for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award National Player of the Week after a breakout performance against UTSA on Sept. 10, in which he logged five catches for 103 yards and two touchdowns.

The University of Texas or any NFL team has not commented on the situation.
