All eyes are officially on the 2026 NFL draft with the event in the books for 2025. This means NFL fans are on Arch Manning watch to see if the quarterback will declare for the draft following the upcoming college football season.

NFL mock drafts have already been released for 2026 with Manning's name being projected among the top prospects. Still, a lot can change in the next year when it comes NFL evaluations.

Few players have been followed as closely for an extended period of time like Manning. Yet, the Texas Longhorns quarterback remains a bit of a question mark.

Manning has only made two career starts in his two seasons with the Longhorns as Texas leaned on Quinn Ewers. With the former Texas quarterback now the newest member of the Miami Dolphins, Manning is officially the Texas QB1.

Bleacher Report's Brett Sobleski is banking on Manning emerging as the signal-caller fans expect in his first full season as the Texas starting quarterback. Just when fans thought the Cleveland Browns could not add another quarterback, Sobleski predicts a wild potential outcome.

Sobleski's early NFL mock draft has the Browns selecting Manning with the No. 2 pick. The analyst predicts the New York Jets will snag South Carolina Gamecocks star LaNorris Sellers with the No. 1 selection.

The Browns are searching for a replacement for Deshaun Watson as the quarterback's five-year, $230 million contract continues to sink the franchise's salary cap situation. Cleveland is hoping that Dillon Gabriel or Shedeur Sanders can emerge as the Browns new franchise quarterback as soon as this season.

Unless one of the rookie quarterbacks emerges with a stellar season, Manning may be too enticing to pass up for Cleveland.

"If he does live up to those expectations, he'll be in the running to become the fourth Manning to hear his name called either with the first or second overall draft pick," Sobleski wrote on Monday.

"Everyone has already seen flashes of Manning's ability, because Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian liked to work the underclassman into the lineup for stretches. Now, it's time to perform at a high level on a full-time basis."
